At Stedman, we firmly believe that it is the responsibility
of every corporate to nurture and give back to the surrounding community.
Our commitment to this cause and the involvement shown by our employees
make it possible for us to do what best we can to foster our community.
Here are some of our recent activities:

These children are the future of our nation. Stedman has been

Anaemia Awareness Campaign
India has the highest
prevalence of iron deficiency anaemia among children, women
and child-bearing women in the world. As more than half of
our population is under 25 years of age, it is important that
adolescent girls are aware of one of the most important health
risks that they, and in future their offsprings face. This
year, Stedman has taken up the cause to promote Anaemia Awareness
among adolescent girls, who are the future mothers of India.
As part of this campaign, Stedman has been organising guest
lectures and haemoglobin tests in women's colleges around
the country, conducted by leading gynaecologists.
Free Medical
Camps Stedman regularly participates in free medical camps organized by colleges and
social organizations by distributing free medicines and pamphlets. One such
campaign we participated was organized by C.L. Baid Mehta College of Pharmacy,
Thorapakkam, Chennai in association with Thorapakkam Ladies Club at the college
campus. About 20 medical practitioners were invited from various city hospitals
- Andhra Mahila Sabha Hospital, Sri Sankara Hospital (Formerly Tamil Nadu Hospital)
and Lifeline hospital. Volunteers from Stedman attended the camp and free medicines
from Stedman were distributed to the patients by the medical practitioners.

December 26th 2004, causing widespread damage to life and property.
